Description

Background:

This learning unit focuses on soft skills required in today’s business world in which it is not sufficient to have only technical knowledge.

Tasks:

The teacher asks students the importance of soft skills and invites them to discuss why soft skills are important for success in the job interview.

The teacher shares/shows the infographics to the students, summarising some tips for improving soft skills.

Optional:

Divide the participants into teams of 4 and introduce different web tools to design infographics, such as: https://www.canva.com/create/infographics/?v=r

Ask the groups to create an infographic about leadership which is one of the soft skills. Infographic tools are an effective way to display information. The best infographics transform complex information into graphics that are both easy to grasp and visually appealing.

The Additional activity of a decision tree can be used to show to students how they can break down a problem and what questions can be asked when tackling the problems. Students can go through the decision tree, selecting a problem of their own and seeing how it can be solve
